During these single-meet sessions, students will have an opportunity to create with clay with guided instruction from our teacher. Subject matter will be student-driven; options being small vessels, animals, scupture, functional art, etc. The pieces will then be bisque fired and students will either glaze on a specified date, or the instructor will dip-glaze a single color. Work will be ready 2-4 weeks after glazing.

you will have time to work on the potters wheel. Minimal instruction will be given during this open studio time. Cost per piece kept is $5 each, in addition to open studio time cost.

Class is 3 weeks long.
In this class you will learn how to construct clay vessels (mugs, vases, plates, platters, etc.) using slab, pinch, extruded and coiled pottery techniques. Weeks 1-2 are spent making the work & week 3 will be glazing.
Work will be ready for pick up approximately
2 weeks after class ends.

During this workshop you will learn how to construct clay houses using slab, pinch, and coiled pottery techniques. The Spirit House is a small dwelling meant to shelter spirits. Artist's houses can be decorated with carved images, or formed people, animals, etc. to depict their spirtual journey through clay.
Class will include discussion of healing through art, and wellness practices.

During this 6-week class, students will have an opportunity to create pottery on the wheel and trim the pieces. They will then be bisque fired and students will glaze on the 6th week. Work will be available for pick-up within two weeks from the end of the class.
