Handbuilding Classes

2024 SCHEDULE 

 Immerse yourself in the art of self-discovery & healing through hands-on clay crafting. Creativity and mindfulness converge as we sculpt, shape and find solace in the therapeutic embrace of clay. In this class we will explore the elements of clay and the connection to our bodies through our breath, mindfulness practices, journaling and play. Projects will include using the coil technique to create a vessel, a mosaic tile of resilience and a hand-built luminary.

• 2 Hours of instruction
• $120/person includes clay, glaze and firings.

2024 SCHEDULE 

  In these classes we will explore the natural elements of clay and PLAY! Using hand building techniques, children will have an opportunity to make a unique sculpture, hand build a coil bowl and create a tile using various textures. We will glaze each piece during the last class session.
